Custom Gross Dissection and Gel Orientation

• Custom gross dissection using a dissecting microscope and gel orientation ($35) per sample
• Custom gross dissection and embedding many pieces and/or gel orientation ($20) per sample

Frozen Sections

• First section ($12), each additional slide from same block ($4)
• Tape Transfer frozen sections for soft tissue ($20)
• Tape Transfer frozen sections for calcified bone ($24)

Paraffin Sections

• Paraffin sections - process and embed ($12) per sample, some samples require custom embedding and many small pieces will be charged ($20) per cassette
• Cut blank unstained sections on charged slides ($3.50) per slide, sections 3-75 microns

Glycol Methacrylate Embedding (GMA) Including Calcified Bone

• Process and embed ($90) 1 to 20 microns thick
• Grossly sawing bone samples with a diamond saw to an optimal thickness for
  • GMA reembedding after facing block when necessary ($12) per sample
  • GMA section ($12) per slide
• Bone sections labeled with fluorochromes are sectioned as blanks (unstained) for UV light evaluation of fluorochrome label ($12)

Cell Suspension Preparations (Cells Centrifuged and Gel Embedded)

• ($20) per sample, these samples can then be processed into paraffin, cut and stained (paraffin processing, cut and staining charges apply)

H&E Staining

Immunohistochemical Staining (IHC)

• Immunohistochemistry labeling (hrp) of frozen or FFPE sections ($46) per slide.
• Immunofluorescence labeling (IF) of frozen or FFPE sections ($46) per slide.
• Immunohistochemistry labeling (hrp) or (if) on chamber slides ($46) per one third region of slide.
• Inblock IHC on whole mount wet tissue that is subsequently embedded in GMA ($90) per antibody.
• FISH ($200) per test using any commercially available probe
• CISH ($200) per slide using any commercially available probe
• In cases where all of the IHC reagents are supplied (primary antibodies and all detection reagents) the reduced price shall be ($20) per slide.
• Prices may be adjusted higher if IHCtech is required to provide the antibody.
• The cost of the antibody may need to be charged as a project set up fee, unless it is a common antibody already in house.
• Prices are subject to change depending on the special requirements of the project.
• IHCtech maintains a library of 300+ antibodies.
• IHCtech can provide most control tissues needed for IHC studies.
• Histotechnologist (under the supervision of a Pathologist) scoring of slides ($125) per hour.
