Activities completed

1. Prepared a comprehensive reference list for IHC

2. Offered support to several conferences presenting IHC topics, providing them with our committee membership forms, NSH membership forms, ASCP QIHC info, and more.

3. Helped to recruit speakers for IHC presentations all around the country.

4. Continue to maintain an IHC control tissue and reagent bank

5. Continue to update and maintain our committee web site: http://ihc.coloradohisto.org

6. Continue to promote and increase NSH membership by requiring it of all who apply to part of this committee.

7. We have assisted many people with obtaining tissues and reagents for taking the ASCP Qualification in Immunhistochemistry exam.

8. Our committee directory is updated regularly and mailed to new members as they sign up, along with the IHC reference list, NCCLS guidelines in IHC ordering info, ASCP QIHC exam info, committee bulletins, and more.

Current Activities

1. Preparing display information for our committee table in Providence

2. Upgrading our web site, moving domains and changing the site name to an easy to remember name.

3. Responding to calls for help with the next QIHC exam due in October 1999.

4. Continuing to update the IHC reference list.

Goals

1. Move the web site to an upgraded domain with an easy to remember registered name under org

2. Compile a list of speakers in IHC willing to work with us presenting IHC workshops around the country.

3. Increase membership in the IHC Resource Group, and therefore increasing NSH membership.

4. Find an editor to publish regular bulletins from this committee
